How You Can Help
Know of a project that needs support?
Or do you want to get involved with any of the projects you have seen here?
Then contact us and let's discuss how we can make a difference.
"Every choice can make a difference"
Go on Safari!
Our
funding for conservation comes from donations by Conservation Safaris.
You can go on your own Private
Safari in Kenya or Tanzania or meet & spend time with conservationists
from projects we support on their Hosted Safaris. Either
way, you can go safe in the knowledge that you are helping to conserve
African wildlife & its
habitat for generations to come.
Check out African Safari options at their site Conservation Safaris.

Explore Africa on Safari & Directly Support Conservation |
Conservation
Safaris donates proceeds to CSWF from all its
Private and Hosted Wildlife
Safaris in East Africa. These donations are
what enables us to continue our on-going conservation
efforts.
Enjoy a unique Kenya
Safari or Tanzania
Safari experience and discover
Africa's unique wildlife whilst you visit conservation
programs running within the areas that you visit. You
will gain a much deeper understanding of both the wildlife
and the issues faced in the region. Learn how you
can continue to support these and other programs when
you return home.
You can be part of the solution! |

Colour your Footprints Green:
How can you reduce your impact on our fragile environment?
Every time you do something, you have a choice.
Every choice you make can make a difference.
Think about the choices you make everyday.
Around The home
- The 3 R's Principle:
Reduce - Reuse - Recycle
- Turn off equipment when not in use (it saves you money & saves the environment).
- Dispose of wastes appropriately (oil, chemicals, etc), NOT down drains!
- Use rechargeable batteries.
- Save water - change your shower head & turn off taps.
- Recycle (grey) water - kitchen water to garden water.
- Use biodegradable cleaning products.
- Buy energy-efficient appliances.
- Use green energy - e.g. solar panels.
|
In The Garden
- Collect rainwater to water your garden.
- Use vegetable scraps to make your own compost.
- Plant natives.
- Use natural products instead of chemical pesticides.
- Use organic compost and mulch to improve soil health.
- DON't use peat - it comes from ancient bog land.
|
When Shopping
- Buy local - reduce transport emissions.
- Buy in bulk & reduce packaging.
- Buy organic. Fruits, veggies, & meat (if you must!).
- Eat vegetarian - it's kind to the planet - more efficient, reduces land clearing for animals, reduce waste byproducts.
- Buy hemp clothing instead of items made of cotton & man made fibres.
- DON'T buy furniture made of tropical hard wood such as mahogany - these come from our precious forests!
|
Getting Around
- Cycle, walk or catch the bus.
- Car pool.
- Use a smaller car.
